Changing Winds
Justice Division

If it seems that the area in which you live has a lot of racial discord, if Native people are subjected to racism throughout all or many aspects of their lives and you know many people who have had the same experience you have had, we will conduct an intensive investigation which will be turned over to the Department of Justice's Community Resolution Services.

The benefit of this service is that sometimes people are subjected to discriminatory events that appear to be too small for the ACLU or an attorney to handle. However, Changing Winds perspective is that if there is smoke, there may well be a fire, and if there are a multitude of small events happening to many people in the community, the best way to eliminate the discrimination is to investigate all aspects of racism that has people in your community concerned.
